We were visiting our son & found fresh tuna at Sam's. We had given our son two 8" sq. slabs, so we gave them a try. We had a small salad of fresh baby greens with balsamic vinegar & olive oil, and dry white wine. We all agreed we would do again.

  • salt slab
  • 0.5 pound Tuna ½" thick slices (Fresh Ahi tuna, Yellow fin tuna)
  • 0.5 tablespoons butter, unsalted

Use butter to just moisten the cooking surface
