- 250 g Suji (Semolina)
- 1 cup Ghee, melted
- 8 pieces Green cardamom, broken
- 3/4 cup Water
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Coconut slices
- 1 tablespoon Almond slices
- 1 tablespoon Almond, diced
- 8 pieces Almond, whole
- 1 tablespoon Pistachio, diced
- 15 pieces Pistachio, whole
- 3 tablespoons Raisin

Step 1
Heat ghee is a pan, add cardamom, when cardamom release flavour and pop add suji.

Cook on medium flame with constant stirring for 6-8 minutes till suji is light golden in colour.Add water and then sugar and stirr vogorously, add nuts and stirr. Lower the heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Delicious Punjabi halva is ready.

Serve in glass plates, hot or cold.
