  • 3 pounds fillet Wild Sockeye Salmon
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil(optional)
  • Salt & Fresh Cracked Pepper(optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Brush grill rack with oil. Drizzle olive oil onto the skin-side and top of the salmon; sprinkle generously with salt and fresh cracked pepper.

5 minutes

Place salmon on a preheated grill, skin-side down. Grill salmon uncovered for 5 minutes.

4 to 5 minutes

Using 1 or 2 large spatulas, carefully turn the fish over. Grill until the fish just begins to flake in the center, 4 to 5 minutes longer.

If using a wood-burning or charcoal grill, keep the salmon uncovered throughout. If using a gas grill, cover the salmon while grilling.

Transfer salmon to a platter and serve immediately.
