- 1.0 packet large marshmallows (10 oz)
- 2.0 cups Chopped nuts
- cup Shortening
- 1.0 cup Chocolate chips

1 1/2 - 3 1/2 minutes
Place chocolate chips and shortening in a 2 cup measure. Microwave at 50% power for 1 1/2 - 3 1/2 minutes, or until chips are shiny and soft. Stir until smooth.

Place nuts in a shallow dish. Insert a wooden pick into the top of each marshmallow.

Dip each marshmallow in chocolate to cover completely. Roll in nuts, coating about three-fourths of the way up. Set on wax paper. Repeat with remaining marshmallows. Let stand until firm.
