  • 4 piece chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • 4 piece ham
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground peppercorn
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 8 small butter, cubed into pieces(optional)

Instructions

1

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C.

2

Step 2

Gently pound each chicken breast to 1/4 inch thickness using a meat mallet.

3

Step 3

Season the chicken breast by sprinkling salt and ground pepper on both sides.

4

Step 4

Place 1 piece of ham and 2 cheese sticks on top of each chicken breast. Roll up each breast and secure with a toothpick.

5

Step 5

Dredge the chicken rolls in flour, then brush with beaten egg, and finally roll in the bread crumbs mixture (which contains paprika and salt).
