Grilled Broccoli and Fennel

This is a perfect recipe for the assorted vegetables you find daily in the garden. Mix up any combination that suits your eye. Delicious!

  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 bulb fennel
  • 1 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Step 1

Wash and cut broccoli into florets, peeling the stem if needed before including.

Wash and peel the outer layers of fennel (save for another use).

Slice fennel into 1/4 inch pieces.

Tear off a sheet of foil large enough to make a packet for the vegetables.

Pile the vegetables into the center of the packet.

Sprinkle with olive oil and place butter on top.

Lift the top and bottom edges of the foil to the center over the vegetables. Fold over neatly to seal them together, continuing to fold until you reach the vegetables.

Flatten the left and right sides of the packet neatly and fold inward on each side, until the packet is completely sealed.

10-15 minutes

Place on a medium grill and allow to steam for 10-15 minutes.

Open carefully (steam will escape) and serve.
