  • 1.5 cups Vodka OR brandy(optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Almond extract
  • 1.0 cups Water
  • 0.5 cups Sugar

Step 1

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved to form a clear syrup.

Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool completely.

In a mixing bowl or bottle, combine 1/2 cup of the cooled syrup with the vodka (or brandy) and almond extract. Reserve the remaining syrup to make a second bottle of liqueur, if desired.
