- 4 slices Paneer (1 1/2 by 1 1/2 inch)
- 4 tablespoons long, thinly cut vegetables
- Carrot(optional)
- 2 tablespoons Capsicum(optional)
- onion(optional)
- green beans(optional)
- Chaat masala
- red chili powder
- pepper powder
- Salt
- Oil
- Bengal gram flour (besan, roasted)
- sugar(optional)
- butter(optional)
- green chutney(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Rub salt, red chili powder, and some oil on only one side of each paneer slice.
Step 2
Heat a pan, add some oil or butter, then add the cut vegetables and stir. Add salt, red chili powder, chaat masala, and pepper to taste. A few grains of sugar are optional.
Step 3
Heat a non-stick tawa.
Step 4
To assemble, take one paneer slice, place the cooked vegetable stuffing on it, then cover with another paneer slice. Ensure the side of the paneer with rubbed masalas is facing outwards.
Step 5
Sprinkle roasted Bengal gram flour on the outer sides of the assembled sandwich. Place on the heated tawa, use butter, turn, and cook until golden brown. Serve as a starter with green chutney.
