  • 4 slices Paneer (1 1/2 by 1 1/2 inch)
  • 4 tablespoons long, thinly cut vegetables
  • Carrot(optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Capsicum(optional)
  • onion(optional)
  • green beans(optional)
  • Chaat masala
  • red chili powder
  • pepper powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Bengal gram flour (besan, roasted)
  • sugar(optional)
  • butter(optional)
  • green chutney(optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Rub salt, red chili powder, and some oil on only one side of each paneer slice.

Heat a pan, add some oil or butter, then add the cut vegetables and stir. Add salt, red chili powder, chaat masala, and pepper to taste. A few grains of sugar are optional.

Heat a non-stick tawa.

To assemble, take one paneer slice, place the cooked vegetable stuffing on it, then cover with another paneer slice. Ensure the side of the paneer with rubbed masalas is facing outwards.

Sprinkle roasted Bengal gram flour on the outer sides of the assembled sandwich. Place on the heated tawa, use butter, turn, and cook until golden brown. Serve as a starter with green chutney.
