- 1 16oz can whole peeled tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons Paprika
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions
- 1 pound Green peppers

Wash and slice the green peppers into even-sized pieces, discarding the seeds and stalk.

Peel and chop the onions.

Fry the chopped onions in the vegetable oil in a large saucepan for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the sliced green peppers, crushed garlic, paprika, 16oz can whole peeled tomatoes, and salt and pepper to taste.

20 minutes
Cover and cook gently for about 20 minutes or until all of the vegetables are tender.

Check the seasoning and serve. This stew can be served with brown rice or homemade bread with cheese.
