- 1 kilogramos patatas medianas
- 6 dientes ajo
- cucharadas aceite de oliva virgen extra
- 4 unidades tomates maduros
- chorrito vino blanco(optional)
- cebolla picada(optional)
- perejil fresco(optional)
- 0.5 litros agua caliente
- 0.5 litros caldo de pescado(optional)
- pescado(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the potatoes into cubes and set aside.
Step 2
Peel and finely slice the garlic cloves.
Step 3
Heat a frying pan with the olive oil and add the garlic. Cook over medium-high heat until golden.
Step 4
Grate or finely chop the tomatoes and add them to the pan, stir, and fry for a while.
Step 5
When the tomato sauce is almost ready, add 0.5 liters of hot water. (Alternatively, fish broth can be used if the potatoes are intended to accompany fish like monkfish, sea bream, or grouper).
Step 6
When the liquid starts to boil, add the potatoes and let them cook.
Step 7
When the potatoes are almost cooked, add the chosen fish (if using).
