Dulce De Leche Hot Chocolate
600ml (20fl oz) Milk
60ml (2fl oz) Heavy Cream
4 Heaped Tablespoons Dulce de Leche (or caramel)
4 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
For the whipped cream (optional)
100ml Heavy Cream
2 Tablespoons Icing Sugar
In a sauce pan, bring milk to a boil. Reduce the heat and add 60ml/2fl oz heavy cream, cocoa powder and Dulce de Leche. Whisk until smooth. Turn off the heat.
Optional: whip the cream and sugar until stiff.
Pour into mugs and decorate with whipped cream or marshmallows.
