  • cup Semisweet chocolate chips
  • Sugar
  • cup Raisins
  • cup Shredded sweetened coconut
  • cup Bass ale
  • cup Firmly packed brown sugar
  • cup Butter, softened
  • teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • cup Cake flour

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift cake flour, baking powder, and salt together. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the sifted dry ingredients alternately with the Bass ale until just combined.

Add coconut, raisins, and chocolate chips to the dough and mix until evenly distributed.

Drop dough onto greased cookie sheets by tablespoons. Sprinkle additional sugar over the cookies. Bake until the edges are golden brown.
