- 1 cup sifted cake flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1.5 cup egg whites (room temperature)
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Sift together flour and powdered sugar.

Combine egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until stiff peaks form.

Fold in sugar and vanilla.

Fold in the sifted flour and powdered sugar mixture.

Pour into a 10 inch tube pan.

Bake at 375 degrees.
