- 2 cups Lady's fingers
- Few spoons Bengal gram flour (Besan)
- Salt
- Red chili powder
- Chaat masala
- Turmeric powder
- Lime juice
- Oil, for frying
- Lime wedge(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Wash and thoroughly wipe all the lady's fingers.
Step 2
Cut the lady's fingers into long and thin pieces.
Step 3
In a mixing bowl, sprinkle salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and lime juice over the cut lady's fingers.
Step 4
Toss the lady's fingers gently to coat them evenly with the spices and lime juice.
Step 5
Heat oil in a frying pan or kadai over medium-high heat.
Step 6
Just before frying, sprinkle Bengal gram flour (besan) over the spiced lady's fingers and toss gently to coat.
Step 7
Carefully fry the coated lady's fingers in the hot oil until crisp and golden brown.
Step 8
Remove the fried lady's fingers from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain any excess oil on paper towels.
Step 9
Sprinkle with chaat masala powder and serve immediately, optionally with a lime wedge.
