  • 2 cups Lady's fingers
  • Few spoons Bengal gram flour (Besan)
  • Salt
  • Red chili powder
  • Chaat masala
  • Turmeric powder
  • Lime juice
  • Oil, for frying
  • Lime wedge(optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Wash and thoroughly wipe all the lady's fingers.

Cut the lady's fingers into long and thin pieces.

In a mixing bowl, sprinkle salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and lime juice over the cut lady's fingers.

Toss the lady's fingers gently to coat them evenly with the spices and lime juice.

Heat oil in a frying pan or kadai over medium-high heat.

Just before frying, sprinkle Bengal gram flour (besan) over the spiced lady's fingers and toss gently to coat.

Carefully fry the coated lady's fingers in the hot oil until crisp and golden brown.

Remove the fried lady's fingers from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain any excess oil on paper towels.
