  • 3 cup Water
  • 1 Clove garlic, minced
  • cup Canned tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Minced onion
  • 4 Coils fideo (coil vermicelli)
  • 3 tablespoon Oil
  • Salt(optional)
  • Pepper(optional)
  • Ground beef(optional)

Instructions

Heat oil. Add fideo and cook until lightly browned.

Add onion and cook until tender.

Add garlic, tomato sauce, and water. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Lower heat, cover, and simmer.

For an optional variation, brown ground beef in a separate pan. Drain any excess fat, then add the cooked, drained beef to the fideo mixture along with the garlic, tomato sauce, and water.
