- 1 teaspoon <a href="/food/45PQ6K4N/honey">honey</a>
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 pound <a href="/recipe/4PDYLXH8/tuna-steaks">tuna steaks</a> cut in quarters
- 0 garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger root, minced
- 0.33333298563957214 cup dry <a href="/food/LNFTPKCC/sherry">Sherry</a>
Instructions
Step 1
Combine Sherry, ginger, soy sauce, honey and garlic in a 1 cup glass measure.
Step 2
Microwave uncovered at high for 1 minute or until mixture boils. Cool slightly. Place tuna in a 11x7x11/2 inch baking dish.
Step 3
Pour marinade over tuna. Cover and chill for two hours. Remove tuna from marinade, reserving marinade. Preheat a 10 inch. Browning skillet at high for 8 minutes. Arrange tuna on hot browning skillet with thickest portions to the outside.
Step 4
Microwave uncovered at high for two minutes. Turn steaks over and baste with marinade.
Step 5
Microwave at high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Let stand covered 2 minutes.
Step 6
Serve immediately with warm marinade. (May also be grilled outdoors.)
