  • 2 pinches Cumin seeds
  • to taste Salt(optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/8 teaspoons Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoons Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoons Ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoons Garlic, grated
  • 1/2 cups Channa dal, soaked
  • 2 tablespoons Dill leaves, cut
  • 1 tablespoons Green garlic, cut
  • 1/4 cups Fenugreek leaves
  • 1 cups Spinach, cut
  • 1 Tomato, cut into pieces
  • 4 Small size brinjals, cut into pieces
  • 1 Onion, cut into pieces
  • 2 Potatoes, peeled and cut into pieces

Instructions

Step 1

Heat a pressure cooker. Add oil, cumin seeds, and asafoetida. Then add ginger, garlic, onion, and tomatoes.

Add all the remaining ingredients, including the masalas, and give a stir. Mix well.

until 4-5 whistles

Add one cup of water for pressure cooking. Close the lid of the cooker and cook until 4-5 whistles. Allow the cooker to cool down naturally.

Pour the bhaji into a pan, heat it again, mash the bhaji, and check the seasoning.

Serve hot with rotis or parathas.
