One of my favorite "unusual" pizzas is a taco pizza - I replace 1 cup of flour in my favorite pizza dough recipe with 1 cup of corn meal, for <a href="/technique/Z8TD4L63/starter">starters.</a> I prepare the taco meat in my usual way (I use a <a href="/technique/7S3QCKWK/mix">mix</a> for the <a href="/technique/MYJ2HRB7/seasoning">seasoning</a>, but I imagine some would prefer to do this themselves). I <a href="/technique/LTNN8R88/roll">roll</a> out the pizza dough & place it in the <a href="/technique/RNT367Z2/baking">baking</a> pan. I add the taco meat (you <a href="/technique/TPWNYF5L/can">can</a> add whatever <a href="/technique/R34ZSY3M/topping">toppings</a> you may choose), <a href="/technique/R34ZSY3M/top">top</a> with <a href="/technique/QMX3H88P/shredded">shredded</a> Monterey Jack cheese & <a href="/technique/RNT367Z2/bake">bake</a> at 450 degrees for about 12 minutes or until suitably <a href="/technique/D434P8MH/brown">brown</a> for you.
