- 1 (2 oz.) jar diced <a href="/884NXQRW">pimento,</a> drained
- 0.25 teaspoon <a href="/RPVMMJ7B">Tabasco sauce</a>
Instructions
Step 1
Combine water and bouillon cubes in a Dutch oven and bring to a <a href="/W7VKDJHH">boil.</a>
Step 2
Add vegetables, cover and <a href="/GFSF4J5F">simmer </a>12 minutes.
Step 3
<a href="/64W3NS5R">Melt </a>butter in a heavy saucepan and <a href="/S6W4FR7F">blend </a>in flour (it's a roux!), cook 1 minute.
Step 4
Gradually add milk; cook over medium <a href="/XZFHRHHF">heat </a>until <a href="/LXP6HLBF">thickened,</a> <a href="/DRM2WPZ4">stirring </a>CONSTANTLY.
Step 5
Add cheese, <a href="/DRM2WPZ4">stirring </a>until <a href="/64W3NS5R">melted. </a><a href="/DRM2WPZ4">Stir </a>cheese sauce, pimento and hot sauce into vegetable mixture.
Step 6
Cook over low <a href="/XZFHRHHF">heat </a>until <a href="/XZFHRHHF">heated </a>through. BUT DO NOT <a href="/W7VKDJHH">BOIL.</a>
