- pinch orange food color
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- pinch turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- to taste salt
- 3 tablespoons thick yogurt
- 2 pieces chicken leg quarters
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried kasoori methi
- butter
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the chicken leg quarters well.
Step 2
Take the chicken leg quarters, make slight cuts to the chicken.
Step 3
Add yogurt into a mixing bowl, add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste.
Step 4
Add garam masala powder, chaat masala powder, orange food color, lemon extract, oil.
Step 5
Mix all these ingredients well.
Step 6
Take the chicken and coat it well with all the masala.
Step 7
Cover and marinate the chicken for 1 hour in refrigerator.
Step 8
Preheat the oven at 350°F or 180° C.
Step 9
Take a baking tray and cover it with an aluminium foil.
Step 10
Place a baking wire rack on the tray.
Step 11
Place the marinated chicken on the wire rack.
Step 12
Put it in the oven.

Cook for 30 minutes in the oven.
Step 14
Take the chicken out, apply butter to the chicken.
Step 15
Flip the chicken and apply butter to it again.
Step 16
Cook for another 30 minutes in the oven.

Take it out from the oven and it is ready to be served with a dip or enjoy as a starter.
