- Parmesan cheese(optional)
- Salt
- 1 Chili pepper
- 3-4 tablespoons fresh Flat leaf parsley
- 400 g Spaghetti
- 12 cloves garlic
- 100 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the spaghetti according the packet instructions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a large pan heat the olive oil and add finely chopped garlic. Sauté for about a minute(low to medium heat). Keep an eye on the garlic as it can burn very easily.
Step 3
Add finely chopped fresh flat leaf parsley & chopped chili and sauté for another minute or so. (Note: add only as much chili as you can eat. There is nothing worse than a delicious dish that cannot be consumed for its extremely high amount of chillies put in. The hotness of each chili pepper is different so I suggest use the ones you are familiar with or start with really mild ones).
Step 4
Pour a few spoons of the spaghetti water in the pan and cook for another minute.
Step 5
Drain the spaghetti, and add them to the pan. Mix them well with the olive oil, parsley, garlic and chili.
Step 6
Transfer to plates & serve with Parmesan cheese.
