Grilled Whole Chicken
Add soaked wood chips to the heat source to make a smokey flavor (apple wood works well). However, use wood chips sparingly, the smoke flavor shouldn't overwhelm the other flavors.

Instructions
Step 1
Remove giblets and <a href="/8BSVY4LZ">wash </a>chicken.
Step 2
Heavily <a href="/DPSVTKVY">salt </a>cavity. <a href="/XSQB5XPJ">Stuff </a>cavity with herbs and lemon
Step 3

Step 4
Prepare <a href="/2V2PRWTZ">grill </a>for cooking with indirect <a href="/XZFHRHHF">heat. </a>For charcoal, place charcoal on one side of the <a href="/2V2PRWTZ">grill </a>and light. For propane, light burner on one side of the <a href="/2V2PRWTZ">grill.</a>

When <a href="/2V2PRWTZ">grill </a>is hot, add a handful of <a href="/NM2HN7TN">soaked </a>wood chips (optional, apple wood is preferred)
Step 6
Put chicken on <a href="/GZFHJC5K">cool </a>side of <a href="/2V2PRWTZ">grill,</a> breast side down. Cook, covered, for 20 min.
