- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
- 3 tablespoons sugar

Mix the grated coconut and milk in a thick-bottomed pan, then bring to a boil.

Once boiling, reduce to a low simmer and cook, stirring continuously.

Continue to cook on low heat until all the water evaporates.

Add the sugar and stir until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
