  • 3 medium Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 inch crushed Ginger
  • 2 chopped finely Green Chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Kasoori Methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
  • 2-3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • Salt(optional)
  • Oil

Instructions

Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly.

50 minutes - 1 hour

Bake the sweet potatoes in the oven at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes to 1 hour, or until they are fully cooked and tender.

Once cooked, take out the sweet potatoes, peel off their skin, and mash them well in a bowl.

Add the crushed ginger, chopped finely green chillies, ground cumin, ground coriander, kasoori methi, cornstarch, and salt to taste to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.

Take a portion of the mixture and flatten it between your hands to form round-shaped patties.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Shallow fry the formed patties in the hot oil until they are nicely browned on both sides.
