I actually made this drink twice before running out of strawberries. The second time, we had a big group of friends over and they all loved it! The drink is cool and refreshing, especially on a hot summer (or late spring) night, but I really think it's special because of the secret ingredients.

The days of warm coffee was growing old. I was just waiting, it had almost been one year since I tasted the sweet taste of chocolate and coconut in a drink. I began to get fed up with the wait. I set out on a mission to make the same drink for a cheaper cost!

When I first made them, they were called Virgin Banana Margaritas. I started making them, fell in love, and always referred to them as “Banana Margaritas”. I would make them for breakfast when I had bananas getting too ripe and the whole family just loved them, especially Brady.

I wanted to try a combo of pineapple and orange for a long time. When i saw this fresh cut pineapples in the wet market, I got a packet and made juice after coming home. This tasted so yum and my kiddos too loved this.

This delicious light and fruity summer drink is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. I made it for our Memorial Day bar-b-cue and I couldn’t keep up with the demand for refills.

Cold brew coffee makes a smooth, non-bitter coffee that is especially perfect for iced coffee.Whether you should drink coffee or not from a health perspective is up to debate, but if you are going to drink coffee this is a lovely way to do it.

Florida Coolers are a summer staple made with frozen fruit juice, sugar, ice, and the alcohol of your choice. Or, you can substitute club soda for a non-alcoholic version.

It’s strawberry season here where I live, so the timing was perfect to try to make my own version of this drink. With my husband’s help, we managed to come up with what has definitely become my new favorite ‘summer’ drink.

Remember my lava flow sorbet? Coconut milk, pineapple juice, and vanilla bean sorbet, mmmmm. Well I used some of that delicious concoction to make a wonderful tropical smoothie, and just had to share. It's very simple!

As the temperatures return to warm glimpses of summer, we move back outside. We grill, we lounge in the sun, we have Happy Hour at Home. We get creative with cocktails, and this time of year, the cooler and lighter the cocktail, the better.

This smoothie reminds me of the milk shakes my parents used to make us on Friday nights when we would watch the TGIF lineup of shows on TV.

So, I wanted a green smoothie, but I had no greens, thus I made a fruit-ish smoothie instead. I pretty much never make non-green-smoothies. They feel too desserty instead of breakfasty.

This one includes lovely leafy greens, a bit of spicy ginger, some tart lemon, a touch of green apple, and earthy beets. If you aren't a fan of beets, fear not! Their flavor is mellowed by the rest of the ingredients making for one delicious juice with a gorgeous ruby hue.

A herbal dose of awesome all wrapped up in a cocktail. It is green tea cocktail style! This is our first foray into the world of Chartreuse and I believe it might be a worthy endeavor.

When the mercury climbs past 70 degrees in Seattle, it’s reason to celebrate – especially after a very rainy (even by this native’s measure) spring. So this warm weekend seemed the perfect time to try this Easy-Way Lemonade.

I think a fresh fruit drink is the best way to relax and celebrate at the same time. The tangy-ness of the lime, the heat from the jalapeno and the flavor the mint makes this a perfect drink for summer.

This is not the official sangria, sangria. I didn’t use a Spanish wine. I used one bottle of dry white wine, one bottle of rose, but you could use two bottles of white wine. I added lots of fruit, and you can be creative here, as long as half of the added fruit is fresh strawberries. I think this matters.

For Mother’s Day this year, we want you to have cocktail choices. If your day will be spent with fewer people, this Berry Happy Cocktail might be a better choice. It combines a fresh blackberry, berry juice, and Sparkling Rose Wine to create a beautiful drink that will help you say cheers to that special mom in your life.
