Creamy Squash Puree "Ice Cream"

Use this as base to make your own super creamy and tasty, but way healthier than ice cream variation. I sometimes use other types of winter squash I baked and pureed or just canned pumpkin puree.

  • Butternut squash
  • Frozen fruit of choice (e.g., banana, strawberries, papaya, mango, blueberries, raspberries)
  • Stevia sweetened vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Water, coconut milk, almond milk, or plain kefir
  • Vanilla or chocolate flavored liquid stevia
  • Broken pieces of whole grain pretzel dipped in a little peanut butter(optional)

Step 1

Add broken pretzel pieces into mixture

Pour into cup and place in freezer until ready to eat.....or just eat right away b/c it's hard to resist
