- hamburger buns(optional)
- 1 piece onion chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
- 1 tablespoon chopped pickled jalapenos
- 2 tablespoons apple cider or white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 cans whole tomatoes (14 1/2-oz) drained and chopped
- 2 pounds boneless pork loin roast cut in 2-inch pieces

4 to 5 hours on High or 8 to 10 hours on Low
Combine all ingredients, except buns, in a 4-quart electric slow cooker, stirring well. Cover and cook.

Remove pork from slow cooker using a slotted spoon; let cool slightly. Shred pork using two large forks.

Return shredded pork to slow cooker; cook until thoroughly heated. Serve on toasted buns, if desired.
