2 pounds boneless pork loin roast cut in 2" pieces
2 cans whole tomates -14 ½-oz drained and chopped
1 cup raisins
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon chopped pickled jalapenos
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 pc onion chopped
hamburger buns optional
Combine all ingredients, except buns, in a 4-quart electric slow cooker, stirring well. Cover and cook on High for 4 to 5 hours or on Low for 8 to 10 hours.
Remove pork from slow cooker, using a slotted spoon; let cook slightly. Shred pork, using two large forks.
Return shredded pork to slow cooker; cook until thoroughly heated. Serve on toasted buns, if desired.
