Ingredients

  • 1 package Won-Ton Wrappers
  • 8 ounces Fat-Free Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Finely Chopped Imitation Crab Meat
  • 3 cloves Large Garlic, pressed or minced
  • 1 tablespoons Fresh Chives
  • 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper(optional)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoons Water

Instructions

1

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil.

2

Step 2

In a medium-large bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, pressed or minced garlic, chives, garlic salt, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3

Step 3

Combine well with a fork until thoroughly mixed. Set aside.

4

Step 4

In a small bowl, whisk together 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of water to create an egg wash. Place wonton wrappers on a cutting board and brush the egg wash along all four edges.

5

Step 5

Using a ½ teaspoon, place the filling in the center of each wrap.

6

Step 6

Bring the bottom triangle of the wrap up towards the top point. Run your fingers along the edges to seal the seam.

7

Step 7

Bring the two side points towards the center and press them together.

8

Step 8

Place the prepared crab rangoons on the foil-lined baking sheet and brush on the remaining egg wash to give them a nice golden color.

9

Step 9

10 minutes

Bake for about 10 minutes or until the edges turn a nice shade of golden brown.

10

Step 10

Serve alone or with some Plum Sauce.
