  • 2 cups fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 4 cups apple juice
  • green food coloring(optional)

Step 1

Add water and sugar, let stand several hours. <a href="/technique/XZFHRHHF/heat">Heat</a> to <a href="/technique/W7VKDJHH/boiling">boiling</a> and strain.

<a href="/technique/HT4RHHGB/color">Color</a> 4 cups apple <a href="/technique/QDWRNXYW/juice">juice</a> with green food <a href="/technique/HT4RHHGB/coloring">coloring.</a>

Cook and when nearly to jellying point add 1 to 2 tablespoon of mint <a href="/technique/QDWRNXYW/juice">juice.</a>

Finish cooking, <a href="/technique/V7ZY4CRW/skim">skim</a>, pour into sterile glasses and <a href="/technique/K4VJ7RZ7/seal">seal</a>.
