  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • mushrooms(optional)
  • 2 stalk leeks, sliced
  • flour

Cook the sliced leeks and optional mushrooms in butter in a saucepan until soft. Add the beef broth and simmer the mixture until hot. Thicken the soup by gradually stirring in flour to your desired consistency. Serve the leek soup hot.
