- nonfat sour cream
- noodles
- dill weed
- fresh ground pepper
- mushrooms, canned and drained or fresh cooked
- 1 pounds ground beef, browned
- ground turkey(optional)
- any meat(optional)
- chopped onion
- chopped garlic
- chopped mushrooms
- 1 cups beef broth(optional)
- 1 cups red wine(optional)
- 1 cans cream of mushroom soup, lowfat
Instructions
Step 1
After browning the ground beef, drain well, blotting any extra fat.
Step 2
Saute the chopped onion, chopped garlic, and chopped mushrooms in the same pan.
Step 3
Add 1 cup beef broth (or red wine) to the cooked meat mixture. Stir in 1 can of lowfat cream of mushroom soup. Add the drained canned mushrooms or fresh cooked mushrooms. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 4
Reduce heat to a simmer. Add fresh ground pepper and a small amount of dill weed.
Step 5
Cook the noodles. When the noodles are almost finished cooking, add a couple big spoonfuls of nonfat sour cream to the meat and soup mixture. Heat through. Add more pepper and dill weed to taste.
Step 6
Drain the cooked noodles and serve the meat mixture over the hot noodles.
