- 2.0 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 2.0 tablespoon chicken stock
- 1.0 teaspoon caster sugar
- 1.0 teaspoon white vinegar
- tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1.0 tablespoon tomato sauce
- 2.0 teaspoon sherry
- tablespoon caster sugar
- 2.0 tablespoon cornflour
- 2.0 tomatoes
- 1.0 egg
- cup vegetable oil
- 500.0 gram beef fillet

Step 1

Slice the eye fillet into 6 pieces. Flatten each steak to about 1 cm thickness. Mix the marinade ingredients with the steak and egg thoroughly. Let stand for 30 minutes.

3 minutes
Heat oil for frying in a pan. Cook each piece of fillet over medium heat for 3 minutes. Remove the cooked fillets and drain them. Place them on a serving plate.

Pour the sauce ingredients into a preheated pan with 2 teaspoons of oil. Bring the mixture to a boil. Pour the prepared sauce over the steak and garnish with sliced tomatoes.
