- 3.0 quart water
- 1.0 teaspoon turmeric
- 0.5 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 0.5 tablespoon salt(optional)
- 1.0 leaf bay leaf
- 0.5 teaspoon savory
- 0.5 teaspoon thyme
- 6.0 sprigs parsley
- 2.0 cloves garlic, chopped
- 4.0 stalks celery, chopped
- 2.0 carrots carrots, chopped
- 2.0 onions onions, peeled, quartered
- 3.0 pieces skinless chicken

Put all ingredients into kettle, cover, bring slowly to a boil and skim off any surface fat and froth. Lower heat and simmer (covered) for two hours. Strain, cool, cover and freeze for future use. (Option: Remove chicken from bones and keep in unstrained stock.)
