  • 6 green peppers, cleaned
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 quart tomato juice
  • 1 pint water
  • 0 cabbage leaves

Step 1

Combine ground beef, egg, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and onion in a bowl. Stuff mixture into peppers.

Step 2

Place stuffed peppers on top of cabbage in a 6 quart pressure cooker. Add tomato juice and water. Cover and cook 15 minutes at 10 pounds of pressure. Let set until pressure goes to zero. Remove lid and enjoy with mashed potatoes.
