
The BarBot is a slot machine robot by NYC Resistor that dispenses mixed alcoholic drinks alongside tokens for a winning spin. You don't need Lady Luck to win at this slot machine, however; the team engineered the BarBot so that it either dispenses a drink or a free additional spin for a drink. The BarBot mixed drinks are programmed so as to only pour drinks you'd actually find in a bartender's cocktail book.
The BarBot has a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas theme and is made of an old, decommissioned Japanese slot machine. NYC Resistor made the BarBot as a part of a 21-day hackerspace challenge put on by VIMBY and Scion.
