Andrew Zimmern would have a field day if he browsed the virtual storefront at Edible. The U.K. online shop specializes in all things unusual, from scorpion vodka to mopani worms, giant hornet honey, monkey picked tea, worm gin, and body wash made from queen ant royal jelly and expired fruit.
The oddball offerings at Edible aren't just to titillate customers with a penchant for culinary curiosities: the company donates 10 percent of its profits to endangered species conservation and rare species conservation. All of Edible's items are sourced in a sustainable, fair-trade and ecologically wise manner.
