  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup milk (for dumplings)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (for dumplings)
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 oz German smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2 sections or chopped
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups sauerkraut
  • salt (to taste)(optional)
  • pepper (to taste)(optional)

Instructions

Mix flour, 1/2 cup milk, 1 teaspoon salt, and eggs in a bowl until well combined.
