Love Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes and want to make them yourself? Try this. If you do not have Pumpkin Syrup, use 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg, 1/8 tsp ground cloves, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, and plain sugar to taste. From Coffee Sage (www.coffeesage.com)

  • espresso (1/4 cup or 1-2 shots) or strong brewed coffee (1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon canned pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Spice Syrup
  • pumpkin pie spice(optional)
  • nutmeg(optional)
  • cinnamon(optional)
  • whipped cream(optional)

Without an espresso machine: In a small saucepan over medium <a href="/XZFHRHHF">heat,</a> <a href="/DRM2WPZ4">stir </a>pumpkin <a href="/HGX4TB7D">puree </a>into milk. Add the syrup. <a href="/XZFHRHHF">Heat </a>until <a href="/WPFKW7GH">steaming,</a> <a href="/DRM2WPZ4">stirring </a>constantly. Do not burn.

Transfer milk mixture to a <a href="/S6W4FR7F">blender </a>and <a href="/TCTHBPYH">whip </a>for 20 seconds, until <a href="/FZB4VFPV">foaming. </a>Pour into a tall mug and pour coffee over the <a href="/R34ZSY3M">top. </a><a href="/R34ZSY3M">Top </a>with <a href="/TCTHBPYH">Whipped </a><a href="/R3P5MM3Z">cream </a>(optional) and dust with <a href="/5YGQYH5K">ground </a>pumpkin pie spice or nutmeg.
