  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 egg whites
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 pounds pecans

Beat the egg whites until they form a stiff foam.

Add the brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the beaten egg whites.

Mix the ingredients together, then add the pecans and coat them well.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Place butter on a jelly roll pan and melt it in the preheated oven. Once completely melted, remove the pan, spread the butter around, and place the coated pecans on the pan.

20 minutes

Bake the pecans in the oven for 20 minutes, being sure to turn them once or twice. Remove them from the oven and cool them completely.
