Recipe: Spanish Rice edit

onion , chopped fine |

small green pepper , chopped fine |

cup chicken broth |

teaspoon chili powder |

Step 1 |

Remove from skillet, crumble, and set aside. |
Step 3 |
Do not remove bacon grease from skillet! |

Saute until onions are translucent. |
Step 6 |
Add the tomatoes, green chiles and chicken broth and simmer approximately 5-10 minutes. |
Step 7 |
Add the rice, cover and simmer approximately 20 -30 minutes. |
