- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic olive oil(optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 cups shredded Colby cheese
- 1 can 12 ounce beer
- 1 can 14 ounce chicken broth
- 6 potatoes peeled and chopped potatoes
- 2 onions chopped onions

Combine all ingredients except the cheese in a 3-4 quart slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low heat.

Using a potato masher, partially mash the vegetables, leaving some whole for texture.

Stir in the shredded Colby cheese.
