- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cup pecan halves
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 pie crust
Instructions
Step 1
Beat eggs lightly with an electric mixer or fork until combined.
Step 2
Stir in corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla extract.

Stir well.

Stir in pecan halves and pour filling into crust.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cover the edge of the pie crust with aluminum foil for the first 25 minutes, then remove for the remaining 20 minutes to prevent the crust from burning.
