BBQ Chicken, Apple & Cheddar Pizza
Angela LeMoine
1 pizza (serves 1-2)
BeginnerI really love to work in a contrast of flavors, textures and colors and this BBQ Chicken, Apple & Cheddar Pizza hits on it all! The crust is a whole grain flatbread that crisps up beautifully {I used Flatout Bread, you can also use a tortilla or halved pita}. Tangy and sweet BBQ sauce, rotisserie chicken {thank you grocery store!}, tart granny smith apples, sharp Vermont white cheddar and crisp red onions! Some sliced scallion to add a burst of brightness before serving. The flavors all work so wonderfully together. This will definitely be a go to weeknight meal in our house!
