Quick and Easy - Cake Pops

Ingredients

1 box cake mix (I used Devil's food)

block of cream cheese

1 tablespoon Kahlua (optional)

6 ounces chocolate candy coating

Sticks (I used skewers cut in half)

Preparation

Make the boxed cake

Allow to cool

Scoop cooled cake into mixing bowl and mix until broken into crumbs

Add cream cheese and mix well

Add Kahlua if using, mix well

Scoop balls of dough and roll into even balls - approximately 22 of them

Melt candy coating

Dip one end of stick into coating and press into each ball

Rest balls in a flat dish and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill

Rewarm coating and dip each pop, coating as desired. I did some halfway and other completely.

Right after dipping, place pop onto tray to cool. Candy coating will pool slightly at the base.

Chill for 30 more minutes, until coating is crisp

Ha!!! Yes, an 8 oz package, so just eyeball 1/3 of that. Sorry.. :-)
