  • 1.0 teaspoon packet Agar Agar powder + 1/2 Gelatin powder
  • 1.0 Litre Water
  • 170.0 gram Sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Dried Osmanthus
  • 3.0 tablespoons Osmanthus sugar syrup

Instructions

Step 1

In a pot, add water, sugar, agar agar powder and gelatin powder. Heat to medium and bring to a boil.

Add dried Osmanthus once the sugar, agar agar powder, and gelatin powder have dissolved.

Keep stirring the mixture with a hand whisk until the liquid boils.

Remove from heat, add Osmanthus sugar syrup, and continue to stir the liquid for another 3 minutes.

Pour Osmanthus jelly into molds. When the jelly is semi-set, gently stir with a small teaspoon so that the Osmanthus remains suspended in the middle.

Leave to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate the Osmanthus jelly until set.
