Preparation

Mix 2 tablespoons oil with yeast, sugar, salt, and warm water.

Add flour and knead until smooth.

Allow to rise for 15 minutes in a warm place.

Saute onions and garlic in a frying pan with 1 tablespoon oil until they sweat, or let a little moisture out.

Add oregano and tomato sauce.

Simmer sauce until slightly thickened.

Divide dough into two pieces and spread into greased pizza pans.

Ladle sauce over dough and spread mozzarella cheese over top.

Bake in 375 degree oven for 20-30 minutes until cheese is melted and the crust turns golden brown.

Tomato sauce for pizza should have no to 1 tsp sugar while spaghetti sauce has 1 to 2 tbs sugar. Buy pizza sauce or make from 3 small cans tomato paste and 3 cans water. Oregano & Basil to taste 1tbs or each is good start.
