fresh mango, diced

¼

cup red onion, chopped

2

tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of one lime

2

tablespoons olive oil

1

teaspoon salt

Fresh ground black pepper to taste

Step 1

In a bowl, combine all of the above ingredients. If the mango is firm, mash the chopped pieces a bit with a fork.

[edit] About Mango Salsa

Optional: 1 small Thai chili pepper or 1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped.

Excellent served with fish, such as grilled tuna.
