- 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
- 5 clove garlic, sliced to circles
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 zucchini, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon Vegeta (or Dafinka)(optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cup crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 2 cup ground beef
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
- Spaghetti style pasta
- shredded Parmesan cheese(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Into a hot pot, put olive oil, add garlic and onion. Sweat for 3-5 minutes over medium heat. Add ground beef, Vegeta (or Dafinka), salt, black pepper, and paprika, and cook until beef browns. Add bell pepper and zucchini, and crushed tomatoes, bring to boil, and cook for 10 minutes, so that zucchini become soft. Sauce doesn’t need to be thick because it will continue to cook in the oven.
Step 2
Cook your pasta half way through to a really “al-dente” stage.
Step 3
Transfer the cooked pasta into a ceramic baking dish, pour the sauce over it, stir lightly to combine, and bake in a 425°F preheated oven for 45 minutes on the lower deck.
Step 4
Optional: After removing the baking dish from the oven, sprinkle some (or a lot) shredded Parmesan cheese over the top.
