  • 1.5 pound pasta (fettuccine)

  • pepper(optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoon sugar
  • 0.5 cup minced parsley
  • 3 cup shellfish
  • 28 ounce plum tomatoes
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 6 large cloves garlic
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 0.5 cup butter

For the shellfish, you can use any combination of shrimp, lobster, scallops, or crab meat.

In a large skillet, combine butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook until the butter is melted and the mixture begins to bubble.

Add dry white wine, minced garlic, basil, oregano, and onion to the skillet. Cook, stirring, until the wine evaporates and the butter turns golden but not browned.

Reduce heat to medium. Add the drained plum tomatoes, shellfish, parsley, sugar, salt, and pepper.
