About

Chia seed's...a plant from the mint family that is native to the Southwestern U.S and Mexico this superfood has been cultivated in the past by the Incans, Mayans and the Aztecs. Chia seeds have more Omega- 3 fatty acid's then Flax seeds...that's impressive, who would have known that ones good old trusty "Chia pet" came with some smarty pant plant seeds, however one should use only high quality food grade Chia seed's.

I was yearning for a porridge -cereal type of breakfast on this chirpy sunny morning. So with this in mind I took a good glance outside and then at the shiny glass jars in the pantry, mmm yes I decided to concoct this little cereal creation...it was definitely what I had in mind...think Goldilocks porridge only way cooler with a bit of bird like seed inspiration!
